The Lodge of Perfection

Focusing on the Completion of King Solomon's Temple, the Lessons of the Lodge of Perfection follow closely on all three of the Craft degrees. They embellish and expand upon the teachings received in the Northeast Corner and the Middle Chamber. They also continue and conclude the dramatic events of the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. They finally culminate in the Perfection of Masonry -- the Restoration of the Master's Word, the Completion of the Temple and the dwelling therein of the Holy Spirit of Deity.

The Council of Kadosh

Here begins the full realization of the philosophic depths of Scottish Rite Masonry. The degrees of the Council explore many of the Mysteries and philosophies of Antiquity and of relatively foreign realms. Many new lessons and spiritual opportunities are here provided that may otherwise be unavailable to the average Seeker of Light.

They then confer the duties of Knighthood upon the educated Mason -- a peculiarly American Knighthood dedicated to Liberty of Thought, Liberty of Action, and Liberty of Religious or Spiritual Expression, as well as Freedom from all the forms of Tyranny that seek to repress all the natural freedoms and rights of man so clearly and beautifully set forth in the Founding Documents of our American Republic.

The Chapter of Rose Croix

The degrees of the Chapter teach the important mysteries of the "New Law"; that the true House of God is not a physical dwelling made of stone and timber, but is a Throne prepared by Masonic labor in the Hearts of Men. The key to this labor is found in the New Word and the New Law of Love.
